Privacy- en cookieverklaring Proefy App

Uw privacy is voor APPelit B.V. van groot belang. Wij houden ons dan ook aan de relevante wet- en regelgeving over privacy, waaronder de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (verder: AVG). Dit betekent dat wij:
- Onze doeleinden duidelijk vastleggen voordat wij uw persoonlijke gegevens verwerken, via deze privacyverklaring;
- Zo min mogelijk persoonlijke gegevens opslaan en enkel de gegevens die nodig zijn voor onze doeleinden;
- Expliciet toestemming vragen voor de verwerking van uw persoonlijke gegevens, mocht toestemming verplicht zijn;
- Benodigde beveiligingsmaatregelen treffen om uw persoonlijke gegevens te beschermen. Wij leggen deze verplichtingen ook op aan partijen die persoonsgegevens voor ons verwerken;
- Uw rechten respecteren, zoals het recht op inzage, correctie of verwijdering van uw bij ons verwerkte persoonsgegevens.
Uw gegevens zijn veilig bij ons en wij zullen deze gegevens altijd netjes gebruiken. In deze privacyverklaring leggen we uit wat we bij de app Proefy allemaal doen met informatie die we over u te weten komen.

Uw account
Bij bepaalde onderdelen van onze app moet u zich eerst registreren. U moet dan informatie over uzelf opgeven en een gebruikersnaam kiezen. Daarmee maken wij een account, waarop u kunt inloggen met die gebruikersnaam en een zelfgekozen wachtwoord.
Hiervoor gebruiken wij uw:
- E-mailadres
- Naam
Dit doen wij op basis van uw toestemming. Wij bewaren deze informatie tot u het account opheft. Wij bewaren deze informatie, zodat u ze niet steeds opnieuw in hoeft te vullen in de app en zodat we u makkelijker kunnen benaderen als dat nodig is. U kunt via uw account informatie aanpassen wanneer u dat wilt.
Verstrekken aan derden
Wij werken met bepaalde bedrijven samen, die uw hierboven genoemde persoonsgegevens van ons kunnen ontvangen.
Toegang portaal
Met ons portaal krijgt u toegang tot een beheeromgeving waar u zelf dingen kunt instellen, opgeven en wijzigen voor de app. Wij houden bij wat u gedaan heeft en wanneer, zodat daar bewijs van is. Hiervoor gebruiken wij uw:
- E-mailadres
- Naam
Dit doen wij op basis van uw toestemming. Wij bewaren deze informatie tot het einde van de dienstverlening aan u.
Verstrekken aan derden
Wij werken met bepaalde bedrijven samen, die uw hierboven genoemde persoonsgegevens van ons kunnen ontvangen.
App store
Onze app Proefy moet u downloaden via de app-winkel van Apple of Google. Wij hebben geen controle over wat deze bedrijven doen met uw persoonlijke informatie. Lees dus ook altijd hun privacyverklaringen.
Verstrekking aan andere bedrijven of instellingen
Met uitzondering van de partijen die nodig zijn om de hierboven genoemde diensten te leveren, geven wij uw persoonsgegevens onder geen voorwaarde aan andere bedrijven of instellingen, behalve als wij dat wettelijk verplicht zijn (bijvoorbeeld als de politie dat eist bij een vermoeden van een misdrijf).
Cookies
Onze app gebruikt cookies. Cookies zijn kleine bestandjes waar we informatie in kunnen opslaan, zodat u die niet steeds hoeft in te vullen. Maar we kunnen er ook mee zien dat u ons weer bezoekt.
U kunt via uw browser het plaatsen van cookies uitschakelen, maar sommige dingen van onze app werken dan niet goed meer.
Met andere bedrijven die cookies plaatsen hebben wij afspraken gemaakt over het gebruik van de cookies. Toch hebben wij geen volledige controle op wat zij zelf met de cookies doen. Lees dus ook hun privacyverklaringen.
Beveiliging
Beveiliging van persoonsgegevens is voor ons van groot belang. Wij zorgen dat uw gegevens bij ons goed beveiligd zijn. We passen de beveiliging steeds aan en letten goed op wat er mis kan gaan.
Wijzigingen in deze privacyverklaring
Wanneer onze app wijzigt, moeten wij natuurlijk ook de privacyverklaring aanpassen. Let dus altijd op de datum hierboven en kijk regelmatig of er nieuwe versies zijn. Wij zullen ons best doen wijzigingen aan u door te geven.
Uw rechten
Als u vragen hebt of wilt weten welke persoonsgegevens wij van u hebben, kunt u altijd contact met ons opnemen. Zie de contactgegevens hieronder.
U hebt de volgende rechten:
- Uitleg krijgen over welke persoonsgegevens we hebben en wat we daarmee doen;
- Inzage in de precieze persoonsgegevens die we hebben;
- Het laten corrigeren van fouten;
- Het laten verwijderen van verouderde persoonsgegevens;
- Het laten overdragen van persoonsgegevens aan een andere partij;
- Intrekken van toestemming;
- Een bepaalde verwerking beperken;
- Bezwaar maken tegen een bepaald gebruik.
Let op dat je altijd duidelijk aangeeft wie u bent, zodat we zeker weten dat we geen gegevens van de verkeerde persoon aanpassen of verwijderen.
Wij zullen in principe binnen een maand aan uw verzoek voldoen. Deze termijn kan echter worden verlengd om redenen die verband houden met de specifieke rechten van betrokkenen of de complexiteit van het verzoek. Als wij deze termijn verlengen, zullen wij u daarvan tijdig op de hoogte stellen.
Klacht indienen
Als u een klacht in wilt dienen over het gebruik van uw persoonsgegevens kunt u een e-mail sturen naar info@appelit.com. Wij pakken elke klacht intern op en communiceren dit verder met u.
Als u vindt dat wij u niet op de juiste manier helpen, dan heeft u het recht om een klacht in te dienen bij de toezichthouder. Deze heet de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

During the processing of personal data APPelit B.V. works conform the requirements of the applicable data protection legislation, like the General Data Protection Regulation. This means we:
- clearly specify our purposes before we process personal data, by using this privacy statement;
- limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data needed for legitimate purposes;
- first ask for explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;
- take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and we demand the same from parties who process personal data on our behalf;
- respect your right to access, correct or delete your personal data held by us.
APPelit B.V. is the party responsible for all data processing. In this privacy statement, we will explain what kind of personal data we collect and for which purposes within our app Proefy. We recommend that you read it carefully.

Registration
Certain features of our service require you to register beforehand. You will have to provide some information about yourself and choose a username and password for the account that we will set up for you.
For this purpose, we use your email address and name. We do this on the basis of your consent. We store this information until you close your account. We will retain this data so that you do not have to re-enter it every time you visit our website, and in order to contact you in connection with the execution of the agreement, invoicing and payment, and to provide an overview of the products and services you have purchased from us.
Access to portal
Within our portal, you can access a management environment where you can set, specify and change settings. We will keep track of your activities for proof.
For this purpose, we use your email address and name. We do this on the basis of your consent. We store this information until our services to you have ended.
App store
The app providing the service has been downloaded via a third-party app store. We have no influence on which personal data the provider will process or to what purpose it will be processed. We recommend that you read the applicable privacy statement of the provider in question.
Providing data to third parties
Except for the parties necessary to deliver the above mentioned services, we do not under any circumstance provide your personal data to other companies or organisations, unless we are required to do so by law (for example, when the police demands access to personal data in case of a suspected crime).
Cookies
Our app makes use of cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information, so that you do not have to fill in that information again. We can also use them to see whether you are visiting us again.
The first time you visit our app, we will show you a notification explaining our cookies and ask for your permission for the use of these cookies.
You can disable the use of cookies through your browser setting, but some parts of our website may not work properly as a result of that.
Security
We take security measures to reduce misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. We take responsibility in the security of your personal data. We renew our security measures to ensure safe storage of personal data and keep track what might go wrong.
Changes to this privacy statement
We reserve the right to modify this statement. We recommend that you consult this statement on a regular basis, so that you remain informed of any changes.
Inspection and modification of your data
You can always contact us if you have any questions regarding our privacy policy or wish to review, modify or delete your personal data.
You have the following rights:
- Right of access: you have the right to see what kind of personal data we processed about you;
- Right of rectification: you have the right to rectify any personal data we have processed about you, if this information is (partially) wrong;
- Right to complain: you have the right to file a complaint against the processing of your personal data by us, or against direct marketing;
- Right to be forgotten: you can file a request with us to remove any personal data we have processed of you;
- Right to data portability: if technically possible, you have the right to ask us to transfer your processed personal data to a third party;
- Right to restriction of processing: you can file a request with us to (temporarily) restrict the processing of your personal data.
If you exercise any of the rights mentioned above, we might ask to identify yourself with a valid ID, to confirm it is your personal data. If so, it is important that you hide your social security number and photo.
We will usually respond to your request within one month. This term can be extended if the request is proven to be complex or tied to a specific right. You will be notified about a possible extension of this term.

If you want to file a complaint about our use of personal data, please send an e-mail with the details of your complaint to info@appelit.com. We will look into and respond to any complaint we receive.
If you think that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint at the authority. For The Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
